Bayern Munich Seeks Reinforcements After Losing Wirtz
Bayern Munich is actively seeking new talents after failing to secure the signing of Florian Wirtz, Bayer Leverkusen’s star player, who will apparently join Liverpool. Faced with this situation, the Bavarian team has set its sights on several renowned players to reinforce its squad. Among the possible targets are Rafael Leão, Nico Williams, Bradley Barcola, and Eberechi Eze. Sporting director Max Eberl and football director Christoph Freund, currently with the team at the FIFA Club World Cup, have a list of alternatives to strengthen the team. The German club needs to bring in at least one player who can make a difference on the field. The management is aware that it will not be enough to sign a Bundesliga winger like Ritsu Doan, from Freiburg, who has also aroused the interest of Bayern as a backup option. Bayern Munich is also preparing for the departure of Thomas Müller and Leroy Sané after the Club World Cup. Sané rejected a contract renewal offer with a base salary of 12 million euros and chose to join Galatasaray. Furthermore, Kingsley Coman could leave the club if a lucrative offer arrives. Although it seemed that the French winger was on his way out, there are no potential destinations on the horizon.“Of course, you have the feeling that we should do something, because Flo [Wirtz] is not coming. Because Leroy [Sané] is leaving. Because Thomas [Müller] is leaving.”

“The transfer market is open until September 1st. A lot of water will pass under the Isar, or under the Ohio River.”
