LIDOM Announces 2025-2026 Final Series Schedule
The Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) has revealed the official schedule for the 2025-2026 National Championship Final Series. This exciting stage will determine the champion between the Leones del Escogido and the Toros del Este, in a best-of-seven series.
The competition will begin on Wednesday, January 21st, with the first match scheduled for 7:15 PM. The second match will be played on Thursday 22nd at 7:30 p.m.
On Friday the 23rd, the third game will take place, again at 7:15 p.m., while Saturday the 24th will be a day off.
The action will resume on Sunday, January 25, with the fourth game at 5:00 p.m. The fifth match is scheduled for Monday 26 at 7:15 p.m.
The sixth game will be played on Tuesday the 27th at 7:30 p.m. If necessary, the seventh and decisive game will be played on Wednesday, January 28th at 7:15 p.m.
The schedule ensures the alternation of venues between the stadiums of both teams, following LIDOM guidelines. This guarantees fair conditions for both finalist teams.
The Leones del Escogido secured their spot in the final after an outstanding performance in the semifinal stage. Meanwhile, the Toros del Este secured their place after a hard-fought victory.
