San Cristóbal Crowned Champion in the U12 Baseball Premundial and Secures its Place in the World Championship
San Cristóbal won the exciting Pony U12 2025 Pre-World Tournament, held on Dominican soil, after a disputed final match against the Dominican Republic. With this triumph, the local team secures its place in the Pony League world championship to be held in Laredo, Texas. The final score reflected the intensity of the game, with San Cristobal prevailing with a score of 9 runs to 5 over the Dominican Republic.During the closing ceremony, Eugenio Báez, president of Pony Dominicana Baseball, expressed his gratitude to all participating nations for their dedication and enthusiasm. Eliseo Serrano, director of the Pony League for Latin America and the Caribbean, also extended his recognition to the board of directors of Pony Dominicana for the excellent organization of the tournament. In the event, trophies were awarded to the champion and runner-up teams, highlighting the performance of the Dominican Republic and San Cristóbal, respectively.
