Stephanie McMahon Headlines WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026
In a surprising revelation during the WrestlePalooza broadcast on Saturday, it was announced that Stephanie McMahon will be the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2026.
The news was announced by The Undertaker, a Hall of Fame member, who made a special appearance with his iconic “American Badass” persona. The Undertaker, riding his motorcycle, went to the ring where McMahon was present. After asking him “Are you ready?”, he informed him of his induction into the Hall of Fame.
Stephanie, daughter of former WWE chairman Vince McMahon, held multiple roles in the company from 1998 to 2023.
She started as an account executive and receptionist in 1998.
She debuted on screen in 1999, participating in her father’s rivalry with The Undertaker.
She became a wrestler, winning the WWF Women’s Championship in 2000.
Simultaneously, she worked behind the scenes as a director, senior vice president of creative writing, executive vice president of creative development and operations, and brand director.
McMahon continued to make frequent appearances and was involved in important storylines. One of them came to fruition when she began a relationship and married professional wrestler Paul “Triple H” Levesque in 2003.
In 2019, her appearances became less frequent due to her increasing role in management. She was appointed interim president and CEO following an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against her father. Although she resigned from her position in 2023, she has made periodic appearances for the company.
The 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony is scheduled for WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas, in April.
