Stephanie McMahon Headlines the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026
In a surprising revelation during the WrestlePalooza broadcast, former WWE co-CEO and chairwoman Stephanie McMahon was announced as the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame for the year 2026. The announcement was made by the legendary Undertaker, a Hall of Famer, who made a special appearance dressed as his iconic “American Badass”. The Undertaker arrived at the ring on his motorcycle, where McMahon was present. After the question, the Undertaker informed McMahon of his induction as the first member of the 2026 class. Stephanie McMahon, daughter of former WWE chairman Vince McMahon, held multiple roles within the company from 1998 to 2023. She began her career as an account executive and receptionist in 1998, before her first on-screen appearance in 1999, involved in the rivalry between her father and The Undertaker. In addition to her role as a wrestler, where she won the WWF Women’s Championship in 2000, she also held key backstage positions, including director, senior vice president of creative writing, executive vice president of creative development and operations, and brand director. McMahon continued to make frequent appearances and participated in important storylines. One of them materialized in real life, by marrying professional wrestler Paul “Triple H” Levesque in 2003. In 2019, McMahon’s appearances became less frequent, while her role in the management of the company expanded. She was named interim president and CEO following an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against her father. Although she resigned from her position in 2023, she has continued to make sporadic appearances. The 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony is scheduled for WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas, in April. Are you ready?
