Stephanie McMahon Headlines WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026

In an unforgettable surprise, Stephanie McMahon has been announced as the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame for the year 2026.

The announcement was made by wrestling legend, The Undertaker, during the WrestlePalooza broadcast last Saturday. The Undertaker’s special appearance, with his iconic “American Badass” persona, and his motorcycle entrance to the ring, marked a historic moment.

McMahon, who was in the front row, received the news directly from the Undertaker, who asked him: “Are you ready?”. Immediately afterwards, he revealed his induction into the Hall of Fame of 2026.

The daughter of the former WWE president, Vince McMahon, has held multiple roles within the company from 1998 to 2023.

Her career began as an account executive and receptionist in 1998. In 1999, she made her screen debut, getting involved in the rivalry between her father and The Undertaker.

Subsequently, she ventured into professional wrestling, achieving the WWF Women’s Championship in the year 2000, while simultaneously holding backstage roles as a director, senior vice president of creative writing, executive vice president of creative development and operations, and director of brand.

McMahon continued to appear regularly on WWE programs, participating in various memorable storylines. One of these stories transcended the screen when she married professional wrestler Paul “Triple H” Levesque in 2003.

In 2019, her appearances became less frequent as her behind-the-scenes role expanded. She was named interim president and CEO following an internal investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against her father. Although she resigned from her position in 2023, she has continued to make sporadic appearances for the company, despite not holding an official position in WWE.

The 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony will take place during WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas, in April.
