Sid Eudy, Wrestling Legend, Passes Away
The wrestling world mourns the loss of Sid Eudy, known by his ring names Sid Justice, Sycho Sid, and Sid Vicious. WWE announced on Monday the passing of the wrestler at the age of 63.
Eudy left an indelible mark on the history of this sport, standing out for his imposing figure and charisma in the ring.
Eudy headlined WrestleMania twice, in 1992 against Hulk Hogan and in 1997 against The Undertaker. In addition, he was a two-time WWE champion and also conquered the WCW’s top title on two occasions.
He was a man of strength, kindness, and love, and his presence will be greatly missed.

Standing at 6 feet 9 inches and weighing 317 pounds, Eudy was characterized by his tough guy persona and his long, curly blonde mane. He was a member of Ric Flair’s Four Horsemen in WCW and was also Shawn Michaels’ bodyguard in the then WWF.
Sid Eudy participated in many other memorable WWE storylines over the years; he was the special referee for the main event of SummerSlam 1991 between Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior. In addition, he helped popularize the Powerbomb maneuver, being one of the great wrestlers to use this finisher.
WWE, on its official website, highlighted that, known as “The Master and Ruler of the World”, Sid’s reputation as one of the toughest and most exciting superstars solidified his legacy in WWE, and his influence can still be seen in wrestling rings around the world.
