WWE WrestleMania Moves to ESPN: A New Home for Wrestling Spectacles

A strategic agreement between World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and ESPN will mark a milestone in wrestling history. Starting in 2026, WWE events, including WrestleMania, will be broadcast through ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer streaming service. The agreement, announced on Wednesday, covers two-night events such as WrestleMania and SummerSlam, as well as other premium live WWE events, such as Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and Money in the Bank. WWE will be responsible for the production of these events for ESPN platforms, which will become their exclusive home in the United States.

“WWE has an immense, devoted, and passionate fanbase that we are excited to serve on our new ESPN DTC platform,” said Jimmy Pitaro, president of ESPN.

The agreement also includes the broadcast of pre- and post-event WWE programs.

“We are proud to reinforce the ‘E’ in ESPN at such an exciting juncture in its direct-to-consumer journey,” said Mark Shapiro, President and COO of TKO.

ESPN’s new streaming service will launch on August 21st with a price of $29.99 per month and will keep the name of the linear network: ESPN. This service will allow users to access the seven domestic ESPN linear networks, in addition to ESPN on ABC and other streaming options. WWE events previously aired on Peacock in 2025.
