John Cena Headlines WWE Premium Event in Indianapolis

The renowned wrestler John Cena will lead a WWE Premium Live Event next month in Indianapolis, which will be broadcast through ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service. Cena will be accompanied by prominent figures such as Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre at WWE’s first Wrestlepalooza, scheduled for Saturday, September 20th. The event will begin at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Cody Rhodes holds the Undisputed WWE Title, while Rollins is the World Heavyweight Champion and Lynch, the Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Furthermore, this will be Cena’s last appearance in the Indianapolis ring. This event marks the beginning of the new five-year collaboration between WWE and ESPN, which will bring the Premium Live events to ESPN platforms. ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service launches on Thursday, and subscribers to the unlimited plan will have access to all Premium Live WWE events as part of their package.

Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, which set an attendance record for the event, at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Tickets for the event will go on sale starting Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presales will begin on Thursday. Additionally, two more events will be broadcast on ESPN platforms this year: Crown Jewel on October 11 and Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29.
