John Cena Headlines Wrestlepalooza in Indianapolis
John Cena will lead a Premium Live Event from WWE next month in Indianapolis, which will be broadcast via ESPN’s direct-to-consumer streaming service. Cena will be accompanied by Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre at the first edition of WWE’s Wrestlepalooza on Saturday, September 20th. The event will begin at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Rhodes is the undisputed WWE champion, Rollins is the World Heavyweight Champion, and Lynch is the Women’s Intercontinental Champion. This event will also mark Cena’s last wrestling appearance in Indianapolis.This is the first event in the new five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, which will bring Premium Live Events to ESPN platforms. ESPN’s direct-to-consumer streaming service will premiere on Thursday, and subscribers to the unlimited plan will receive all WWE Premium Live Events as part of their package.
Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, which set the event attendance record at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presale tickets will be available Thursday. Two more events this year, Crown Jewel on October 11th and Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29th, will also be broadcast on ESPN platforms.On September 20th, WWE and ESPN will join forces for a can’t-miss event to kick off our new partnership.
