John Cena Headlines WWE Event in Indianapolis

The renowned wrestler John Cena will lead a WWE Premium Live Event next month in Indianapolis. The event will be broadcast through ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service. Dinner will be accompanied by prominent figures such as Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre at WWE’s inaugural Wrestlepalooza, scheduled for Saturday, September 20th. The event will begin at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Cody Rhodes holds the Undisputed WWE Title, Rollins is the World Heavyweight Champion, and Lynch is the Women’s Intercontinental Champion. This event will mark Cena’s last appearance in Indianapolis. This event is the first under the new five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, which will bring Premium Live Events to ESPN platforms.

Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, which set an attendance record at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Entries for the event will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presale tickets will be available on Thursday. In addition, two more events this year, Crown Jewel on October 11 and Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29, will also be broadcast on ESPN platforms.
