An average of 1.9 million viewers tuned in to the match in which Las Vegas defeated Phoenix with a score of 89-86 last Friday.This impressive number represents a 62% increase compared to the audience of Game 1 last season, which pitted New York against Minnesota.
The peak audience during the match reached 2.5 million viewers. The only match that has surpassed this audience figure was the 1997 championship, a single game that defined the champion. The viewership figures for Game 2 have not yet been released.
