What I felt at that moment scared me more than anything. I am very happy to have received the results of my MRI and to know that it is something I can play with.

A win on Wednesday would allow the fifth-seeded Liberty to advance to the semifinals, where they would face the winner of the series between the Minnesota Lynx and the Golden State Valkyries. A loss would force a third game in Phoenix. In Game 1, Stewart accumulated 18 points, six rebounds, and four assists in the Liberty’s 76-69 overtime victory. Stewart leads the Liberty in points per game (18.3), blocks per game (1.4), and steals per game (1.4). In addition, she is second in rebounds with 6.6 per game.

She’s a tough fighter. She is one of the engines of our team. So it’s a great relief for us.
