Caitlin Clark Withdraws from WNBA All-Star Game Due to Injury
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark will not participate in the WNBA All-Star events this weekend. The player has made this decision due to a groin injury suffered last Tuesday, as reported in a statement.Despite her absence from the court, Clark plans to attend the All-Star festivities in Indianapolis, the city hosting the event for the first time in franchise history. Clark had been named one of the two All-Star captains. Due to this injury, Clark also missed the Fever’s last game before the All-Star Game. So far this season, she has been absent from 10 games due to various injuries.“I am incredibly sad and disappointed to say that I cannot participate in the Three-Point Contest or the All-Star Game. I have to rest my body,” Clark stated.
