The basketball star, Caitlin Clark, is preparing for a return to action, but this time on the golf course. After a season marked by injuries in the WNBA, Clark will participate in next month’s pro-am at The Annika, an LPGA Tour event.

I had an incredible time at The Annika last November and participating in the pro-am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game.

The pro-am will take place on November 12 at the Pelican Golf Club and will be open to the public. Last year, Clark drew a large crowd and generated a lot of excitement, just after her first season in the WNBA and being named Rookie of the Year. The Annika is the penultimate tournament on the LPGA schedule. Clark has a corporate relationship with Gainbridge Insurance, the main sponsor. The second season of Clark in the WNBA was affected by injuries. She played only 13 games and was ruled out for the rest of the season on September 4 due to a groin injury. The Indiana Fever, her team, reached the playoffs again, but were eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals.
