The recent men’s final at Wimbledon, which pitted Jannik Sinner against Carlos Alcaraz, has marked a milestone in the history of the tournament. This match has become the most-watched men’s final since the exciting 2019 duel between Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.

The Sunday match averaged 2.9 million viewers, representing a 31% increase compared to the previous year’s final. This figure places the audience at its highest point since approximately 3.8 million people witnessed Djokovic’s victory in a fifth-set tiebreak in an epic showdown.

Furthermore, both the men’s and women’s semi-finals also experienced a significant increase in viewership figures. The women’s semi-final, which included Amanda Anisimova’s surprising victory over Aryna Sabalenka, attracted an average of 897,000 viewers, the highest figure since 2015. As for the men’s semi-finals, with an average of 1.31 million viewers, they reached their highest point since 2019.
