In an epic final that kept fans on the edge of their seats, the world’s number one tennis player, Iga Swiatek, achieved a spectacular comeback to defeat Ekaterina Alexandrova and take the title of the Korea Open. The match, held at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center, lasted for almost three hours, showing the intensity and competitiveness of the duel. The Pole, with a game that at times didn’t seem to flow, had to deal with a serve that played tricks on her, conceding her serve on five occasions and committing nine double faults. Despite this, the world number two knew how to keep calm and find a way to recover.

“Honestly, I don’t know how I won because you were playing great and I just tried to stay alive,” Swiatek stated after the match.
