Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, two-time runner-up at Indian Wells, will have another opportunity to conquer the title. Sabalenka defeated Linda Noskova in the semifinals with a score of 6-3, 6-4. In a match that lasted 1 hour and 28 minutes on the main court of the BNP Paribas Open, the world number one, Sabalenka, demonstrated her superiority. In Sunday’s final, she will face Elena Rybakina, currently in third place in the ranking. Rybakina secured her place in the final by defeating Elina Svitolina with a score of 7-5, 6-4. Sabalenka’s only defeat in 2026 was against Rybakina in the Australian Open final. Sabalenka will seek revenge, as well as break her 0-2 record in the Indian Wells finals.With this victory, Sabalenka improves her record to 12-1 in 2026 and reaches the semifinals for the sixth consecutive time in a WTA tournament.
