Alex Michelsen Shocks at the Canadian Open
American tennis player Alex Michelsen achieved a remarkable victory by defeating the third seed, Lorenzo Musetti of Italy, in the third round of the National Bank Open, held in Toronto.
Michelsen, ranked 26th, managed to defeat Musetti with scores of 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4, demonstrating a high level of play and determination.
In addition to Michelsen’s victory, other players managed to advance to the next phase of the tournament.
The eleventh seed, Karen Khachanov of Russia, defeated Emilio Nava of the United States with a score of 6-7 (6), 6-4, 6-1. For his part, the Argentine Francisco Cerundolo, seeded number 14, defeated his compatriot Tomas Martin Etcheverry with a result of 6-3, 6-4.
