Wrexham Looks to Bolster Attack with Kieffer Moore

Wrexham, a team that has captured global attention, is exploring the possibility of signing Welsh striker Kieffer Moore, currently with Sheffield United. Manager Phil Parkinson confirmed that the 32-year-old player is on the club’s radar as they prepare for their next campaign in the Championship. Moore, with 49 appearances for the Wales national team, signed a three-year contract when joining Sheffield United last summer. In the previous season, he scored five goals for the Blades.

The possible arrival of Moore would further strengthen Wrexham, after a very active period of signings for their return to the second division of English football, after 44 years. Backed by Hollywood co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, the club has already secured the addition of New Zealand international defender Liberato Cacace, coming from Empoli, and Josh Windass, on a free transfer from Sheffield Wednesday. In addition, goalkeeper Danny Ward, striker Ryan Hardie, and midfielders George Thomason and Lewis O’Brien have also joined the Welsh club. Wrexham also approached Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen, but talks did not progress to advanced stages. The Parkinson team will start the new season with a match against Southampton on August 9th.
