Tottenham Hotspur Looks for Reinforcements at the End of the Transfer Market
Tottenham Hotspur are aiming to make at least two more signings in what could be a very active summer transfer window, according to sources close to the club. The Spurs are interested in signing an attacking midfielder after failing to sign Morgan Gibbs-White, who ultimately signed a new contract with Nottingham Forest, and Eberechi Eze, who chose to join Arsenal last week in a £67.5 million transfer. According to sources, among the players being considered are Maghnes Akliouche from Monaco and Lucas Paquetá from West Ham, while the club has long shown interest in Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig and could try to sign him if there are indications that his transfer to Chelsea will not materialize.
Tottenham has also explored whether Bilal El Khannouss has finalized a deal to join Crystal Palace from Leicester City or if there is a possibility for the North London club to enter the race.
