PSG Secures Lucas Chevalier: Donnarumma in Search of New Club
The Paris Saint-Germain has finalized the incorporation of goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, coming from Lille, with a five-year contract. The transaction was closed for a sum of 40 million euros, with the possibility of adding 15 million euros in bonuses. Sources close to the club confirm that the official announcement is imminent.
Chevalier, 23, has already passed medical tests in Paris and is set to be the team’s new starting goalkeeper. This incorporation opens the way for Gianluigi Donnarumma, who played a crucial role in PSG’s outstanding season, to seek a new destination.
The PSG has no intention of retaining the Italian goalkeeper and has two high-level goalkeepers in its squad.
