Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou responded to Arsene Wenger’s comments on the automatic qualification of the Europa League winner to the Champions League.
The Spurs are in a favorable position to reach this year’s Europa League final, with a 3-1 lead over the Norwegian team Bodo/Glimt after the first leg of the semi-final.
Manchester United, another Premier League team, seems set to join them after beating Athletic Club 3-0 in their first leg match last week.
Last week, Wenger, former Arsenal manager, suggested that the Europa League winner should not automatically qualify for the Champions League.
It’s the regulations. Why wasn’t it a problem before? Last year, fifth place didn’t qualify you, this year it does.

The Spurs will travel to Norway for the second leg of the semi-final on Thursday, while United hosts Athletic at Old Trafford.
