Yunus Musah joins Atalanta on loan from AC Milan
American midfielder Yunus Musah has been loaned to Atalanta by AC Milan, just before the transfer market closed. The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed by the Serie A teams.
However, reports from Italian media indicate that Atalanta paid 4 million euros (4.7 million dollars) for the loan until the end of the season. At the end of the loan, Atalanta will have the option to sign Musah permanently for 24 million euros (28 million dollars).
Musah, born in New York but raised in Italy and England, has been a key player at Milan since joining from Valencia two years ago. The 22-year-old has also played almost 50 matches for the United States national team since his debut in 2020. Musah was also eligible to play for England, Italy, and Ghana.
