Paris Saint-Germain’s sports advisor, Luis Campos, known in the football world for his skill in the transfer market, has put an end to speculation about his possible arrival at Manchester United. Campos has signed a five-year contract with Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), the owners of the Parisian club, to continue his work.

Campos, who joined PSG in 2022, has been in charge of the sporting strategy and the hiring of players since his arrival from Lille in 2020.

The 60-year-old professional has also worked as a sporting director at Monaco and as a tactical analyst at Real Madrid during José Mourinho’s three years as coach.

Following Dan Ashworth’s departure from Manchester United last November, after only five months at Old Trafford, the Premier League club had been repeatedly linked with Campos in recent months.

Luis Campos, one of the sports transfer gurus, has extended his contract with PSG.

With PSG preparing to face Reims in the Coupe de France final and their Champions League encounter against Inter Milan in Munich on May 31, Campos has signed a new agreement with QSI, which also owns the Portuguese club Braga, to remain in the organization until 2030.

We are delighted to renew Luis Campos as a sports advisor at QSI until 2030. We are building our long-term project and Luis has done a fantastic job in the last three years.

“We have great stability, purpose, and collective focus within our group, in all our assets, today, so I thank Luis, and I look forward to many more successes and achieving our long-term goals at QSI in the future,” he added.

I am delighted to continue my story with QSI until 2030. We can be very proud of how we have transformed the clubs, companies, projects and ethics within our group in the last three years, and I truly believe that this is only the beginning of our successes.
