The Mexican national soccer team has confirmed significant absences for its next training camp in June, due to muscle injuries.
Sensitive Losses Due to Injuries
Hirving “Chucky” Lozano and Henry Martín will not be able to participate in the next activities of the national team due to hamstring problems.Both players will miss the friendlies against Turkey on June 7 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Switzerland three days later in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In addition, they will not be part of the team that will participate in the Concacaf Gold Cup, the announcement of which was made on Wednesday.
In Lozano’s case, his club, San Diego FC of MLS, conducted tests that determined the player’s inability to travel to Mexico City to join the camp.

For his part, Martín also suffers an injury to his left hamstring, which will force him to begin his recovery process with Club América.
The forward did not participate in America’s last match against LAFC on May 31st due to this injury.

On Wednesday, the list of 26 players called up for the Gold Cup was announced, highlighting the return of goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa.
