The talented midfielder of the United States women’s national team, Lily Yohannes, is about to finalize her transfer to the prestigious French club OL Lyonnes, according to multiple sources.
The French team, recognized for its eight Women’s Champions League titles, has reached an agreement with Ajax for the transfer of the 18-year-old American footballer. Yohannes is expected to finalize personal terms with Lyonnes in the coming days.

Born in Virginia, Yohannes moved with her family to the Netherlands at the age of 10. She signed her first professional contract with Ajax at the age of 15.
In 2023, at 16 years old, Yohannes became the youngest player to start in a Women’s UEFA Champions League match, playing for Ajax in the 2-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain.
