Havertz Could Return for Arsenal’s Crucial Match Against Newcastle
Arsenal forward Kai Havertz could be part of the team in the next Premier League match against Newcastle United. This was announced by coach Mikel Arteta, following the player’s recovery from hamstring surgery.
Havertz, who was expected to be out for the rest of the season after the operation in February, has accelerated his recovery and could be available for Arsenal’s last two matches.
Despite missing more than three months of play, Havertz remains Arsenal’s top scorer with nine league goals and 15 in all competitions.
We’re going to decide tomorrow. He’s participated in certain parts of training in the last two days. He looks in great form, but the medical staff needs to give the green light and see how Kai feels.

Arteta also highlighted Havertz’s importance to the team.
In addition to Havertz, Arteta reported that Declan Rice, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli, and Jurriën Timber will also be assessed on Saturday.
Arsenal arrives at its last home match of the season with 68 points, while Newcastle has 66.
A win for Arsenal would secure Champions League qualification next season, while Newcastle also look to finish second.
Eddie Howe’s team has performed well against Arsenal this season, beating them three times.
It’s also our opportunity to finish second. We will need a great performance, be very precise. The margins are very fine with Newcastle and we must be precise in front of them to score goals.

Arteta also mentioned that the last home game is a special occasion and an opportunity to thank the fans.
When asked about the statements of the former Arsenal coach, Arsene Wenger, regarding qualification for the Champions League, Arteta responded.
