Haaland Returns to the Starting Lineup with Manchester City
Erling Haaland returns to the starting lineup for Manchester City after a six-week absence.
The Norwegian striker was selected to play against the already relegated Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday. This match precedes the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace.
Haaland has been out of action since he injured his ankle against Bournemouth on March 30.
Haaland’s return could be late for him to win his third consecutive Golden Boot award, given to the league’s top scorer.
Before the match against Southampton, Haaland had scored 21 goals, seven fewer than Mohamed Salah, from Liverpool.
