Pep Guardiola has reached a new historical milestone in the Premier League. After Manchester City’s 1-0 victory against Brentford, Guardiola has 250 wins as a coach in the competition.
The achievement comes after only 349 matches, surpassing the mark of Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger, who needed more than 400 matches to reach the same figure.

The star striker Erling Haaland also had an outstanding performance in the match.
Haaland scored the only goal of the match, scoring at the Gtech Stadium, one of the few Premier League stadiums where he had not yet scored.
The goal came after a pass from Josko Gvardiol, with Haaland beating Brentford defenders Sepp van den Berg and Nathan Collins, before scoring against goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher.
This was Haaland’s 18th goal in 11 games this season, leaving Anfield as the only Premier League stadium where he has yet to score.Despite the victory, the match had a bittersweet moment for City. Rodri suffered an injury and had to be substituted.
Guardiola commented that the injury seemed to be in the hamstring, but the severity was still unknown.
For Brentford, this was their first home defeat of the season.
