The match, which ended with City’s defeat, was the scene of an altercation that left the coach feeling “ashamed”. The confrontation, which took place on the field of St. James’ Park, involved Guardiola and the cameraman. In addition, the coach was caught in heated conversations with referee Samuel Barrott and Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimarães.
