Florence, Italy – The match between Juventus and Fiorentina was briefly interrupted on Saturday due to racist and discriminatory chants from the home fans. The match was stopped after several announcements were made urging fans to stop the insults directed at Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, who previously played for Fiorentina.

Partido de la Fiorentina contra la Juventus se detuvo por cánticos discriminatorios dirigidos al delantero de la Juventus, Dusan Vlahovic.
The situation intensified when Juventus was initially awarded a penalty in the 14th minute, following an apparent foul by Pablo Marí on Vlahovic. However, the decision was reversed after a video review. The referee was about to resume the game, but had to ask Fiorentina captain Gianluca Mancini to ask the fans to stop the chants. This is the third consecutive year that Vlahovic has been the target of racist chants, after his controversial departure from Fiorentina in January 2022.
