The renowned footballer Christian Eriksen has ended his time as a free agent and joins VfL Wolfsburg. Eriksen, 33 years old, became a free agent after his time at Manchester United in June, after three seasons at Old Trafford. During the summer and pre-season, the Danish player remained without a team. Recently, the midfielder trained with Malmo in Sweden, but has now signed a two-year contract with Wolfsburg.

Eriksen has 310 Premier League appearances. He played for Tottenham Hotspur between 2013 and 2020. He has also defended the colors of Ajax Amsterdam, Brentford and Inter Milan. At Wolfsburg, he will coincide with his Danish compatriots Andreas Skov Olsen, Jonas Wind, Jesper Lindstrom and Joakim Maehle.

VfL Wolfsburg is my first club in the Bundesliga. I am looking forward to this new adventure. I am convinced that we can achieve something together in Wolfsburg. The fact that there are several familiar faces in the Danish national team makes VfL a particularly attractive proposition for me.
