Manchester United has reached an agreement with RB Leipzig to sign striker Benjamin Sesko, according to sources close to the negotiation.
The international Slovenian is set to join the team for a figure close to 85 million euros, including variables. A source revealed that Leipzig considers the targets for the variables to be achievable and that the agreement includes a sell-on clause that gives them a percentage of any future transfer.
In addition, a friendly match between both teams will be organized in the future.
Sesko, 22, is scheduled to travel to Manchester on Thursday evening to undergo medical examinations. Sources indicate that he could be presented at Old Trafford before the pre-season friendly against Fiorentina on Saturday.

Sesko has been training separately from the rest of the team while negotiations about his future progressed.
Sesko’s arrival at United could impact Newcastle and the future of their star striker, Alexander Isak, after the club rejected Liverpool’s first offer for the Swedish international.
Sesko scored 21 goals in 45 matches for Leipzig in all competitions last season and previously played for RB Salzburg before moving to Germany in 2023.
He will become United’s third major signing this summer, following the arrivals of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
This brings the club’s spending in the transfer market to around £200 million.
