Adrien Truffert is ready to join Bournemouth, coming from Rennes of Ligue 1.
Bournemouth has reached an agreement to sign Adrien Truffert from Rennes. This transfer could pave the way for Milos Kerkez, Bournemouth’s left-back, to complete his move to Liverpool.
Liverpool have agreed a deal for Kerkez, valued at around 45 million euros. The player has already agreed personal terms with the English club, following a standout season.
The international Hungarian had a great season on the south coast, scoring two goals and six assists in 38 Premier League appearances.
Liverpool have been looking for a left-back, as doubts arose about the performance of Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas on some occasions.
Bournemouth and Rennes reached an agreement for the transfer of Truffert on Saturday, with the clubs signing the necessary documentation for a deal worth 17 million euros, including bonuses.
Truffert, with a call-up to the French national team, was Bournemouth’s first choice to replace Kerkez.
The 23-year-old player will sign a five-year contract with the Premier League team.
