Beckham Criticizes Manchester United’s Behavior on Asian Tour

Manchester United legend David Beckham expressed his disappointment with the team’s behavior during the pre-season tour in Asia. According to Beckham, he has observed “many things that are not acceptable.”

United winger Amad Diallo was caught showing the middle finger to a crowd outside the team hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Diallo alleged that insults were directed towards his mother and stated he did not regret his actions.

On Friday, a video of winger Alejandro Garnacho involved in a brief altercation with a fan who was filming him was spread on social media.

Manchester United, which finished the season in 15th place in the Premier League, offered unconvincing performances in Asia. They suffered a 1-0 defeat against the ASEAN All-Stars team, although they achieved a 3-1 victory over Hong Kong.

I don’t like seeing what’s happening at the club. It’s true that what matters is the field, but I see many things that are not acceptable to me as a fan and lover of Manchester United. You have to represent the badge. I’ve seen many things where the players didn’t act the right way.

Beckham went on to explain that “We understood what it meant to play for Manchester United. We understood what the badge meant. Everywhere we traveled, whether it was in Europe or Asia, we respected the fans. We respected the fact that they came and paid money to see us, to get an autograph or take photos. You have to respect that.”
