The interest in Isak has been discussed internally at Al Hilal, with coach Simone Inzaghi involved in the conversations. However, so far there has been no formal contact with Newcastle. There are still no indications about Isak’s willingness to move to Saudi Arabia.

Inzaghi is in favor of incorporating Isak, although it is acknowledged that it would be complicated to get him out of Europe.

Alexander Isak did not play in Newcastle’s first pre-season friendly against Celtic on Saturday. Isak has also been linked with Liverpool. The player did not participate in Newcastle’s friendly against Celtic on Saturday. Coach Eddie Howe stated that he could not guarantee that Isak would continue at the club at the end of the transfer window.

It’s difficult for me to give 100% clarity on any player. I would never sit here and do that because this is football and you never know what can happen.

Eddie Howe, Newcastle manager
Howe added that Isak is happy at Newcastle and that he has had no problems with him. Al Hilal is looking to reinforce its attack this summer and, according to a source, made a considerable offer for Victor Osimhen before the FIFA Club World Cup.
