Inter Milan defender Francesco Acerbi was involved in an incident during an event with fans after being provoked by a supporter wearing a Paris Saint-Germain jersey. The fan, present in Seattle, apparently remembered the recent Champions League final, where Inter suffered a defeat. The situation escalated rapidly when the supporter began to make fun of Acerbi, mentioning a specific moment of the match. In a video that went viral on social media, the Italian defender is visibly upset. Acerbi requested the help of a translator to communicate with the fan. The translator told the fan, in English: “You must take it seriously.”

After the verbal confrontation, Acerbi quickly walked away to pose with other fans and continue with the event.

Inter Milan has not issued any comments on the matter at the moment. Inter will face Urawa Red Diamonds in Group E this Saturday.
