Arturo Gatti Jr., Son of Boxing Legend, Passes Away
The World Boxing Association (WBA) confirmed this Wednesday the death of Arturo Gatti Jr., son of the iconic boxer and Hall of Fame member, Arturo Gatti. He was 17 years old.The news began to circulate on social media and was confirmed by Chuck Zito, Gatti Sr.’s former bodyguard, through a post on social media.Moe Latif, Gatti Jr.’s coach, also confirmed the sad news in a social media story.“The WBA and the boxing world mourn the loss of Arturo Gatti Jr. His journey was just beginning, but his spirit will live forever, now reunited with his legendary father among the stars,” the organization expressed in a statement.
