AJ Green secures his future with the Bucks: Million-dollar contract extension
Milwaukee Bucks guard AJ Green has reached an agreement to extend his contract with the franchise for four years and $45 million, fully guaranteed. The news was confirmed by Matt Bollero, agent of ProMondo Sports.
Green has become a success story for the Bucks. Coming from Iowa, the player went from not being drafted in 2022 to obtaining a dual contract, then a standard contract and now this long-term agreement.
With this extension, Green will be tied to Milwaukee until the 2029-30 season, ensuring his permanence on the team and preventing him from becoming a free agent next summer.
In the past season, Green scored 541 points, surpassing the 406 points he achieved in his first two NBA seasons, averaging 7.4 points per game. He stands out for his effectiveness in three-point shots, with a 42% success rate throughout his career.
In last season’s statistics, his three-point shooting percentage was 42.7%, ranking among the best in the league for players with at least 300 attempts.
