Kevin Sinfield Stands with Lewis Moody After ALS Diagnosis
Kevin Sinfield has expressed his unconditional support for Lewis Moody, former captain of the English rugby team, after learning of his diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Sinfield, who has been a fervent advocate in the fight against ALS, has pledged to “support in any way possible” Moody and his family. Since his friend and teammate at Leeds Rhinos, Rob Burrow, was diagnosed with the disease in 2019, Sinfield has raised over £10 million to fund research and raise awareness of ALS. Burrow died from complications of the disease at age 41 last June.
