The Scottish team demonstrated their strength and determination in a crucial Group B match. The match began with an early try from Francesca McGhie, followed by two from Rhona Lloyd, establishing a 17-5 lead at halftime. Despite Fiji’s effort, with a try from Manuqalo Komaitai after the break, Scotland kept their composure. McGhie, with his fifth try of the tournament, and an excellent individual effort from Emma Orr, which gave Scotland a bonus point, sealed the victory. This result guarantees Scotland a place in the top two of the group. Fiji scored a late try through Karalaini Naisewa, but their exit from the group stage was already confirmed.
