Lions Reveal Lineup for Decisive Third Test Against Australia

British and Irish Lions coach Andy Farrell has made two key changes to his starting lineup for the third and final test against Australia. This match will determine if the tourists achieve a perfect 3-0 sweep. James Ryan, the Ireland second row, joins captain Maro Itoje in the second row at the Accor Stadium in Sydney this Saturday. In addition, Scotland’s Blair Kinghorn has been chosen to fill the position of Mack Hansen on the left wing.

“We have put ourselves in a great position to finish this tour with our best performance to date and create our own part of history,” Farrell said.

Farrell also highlighted the intensity of the previous match in Melbourne and anticipated another epic duel against an Australian team that demonstrated its quality last week. Chessum moves to the bench, with Ben Earl coming in as a substitute in the third row alongside Jac Morgan. Farrell has opted for a 6-2 split in favor of the forwards, anticipating a test under adverse weather conditions. The third starting line and the midfield pairing remain unchanged for the third consecutive match. Irish prop Tadhg Furlong will play his ninth consecutive test with the Lions in the front row.
