Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy underwent surgery on Wednesday to repair facial injuries. The player will be out of action indefinitely, according to reports. McAvoy suffered the impact of a slap shot from Noah Dobson to the mouth during the second period of Saturday’s game, in which the Bruins defeated Montreal with a score of 3-2.So far this season, McAvoy has accumulated 14 assists in 19 games.Okay.
