Sauce Gardner Signs Million-Dollar Extension with the Jets

The New York Jets’ star cornerback, Sauce Gardner, has reached an agreement to extend his contract for four years and $120.4 million, becoming the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL. The agreement includes a guarantee of $60 million. Gardner, selected in the fourth overall position of the 2022 draft, surpasses Derek Stingley of the Houston Texans, whose contract averages $30 million.

This agreement comes one day after the Jets agreed to a four-year, $130 million extension with wide receiver Garrett Wilson, also selected in the 2022 draft. Both Wilson and Gardner are now under contract until the 2030 season.
