Ravens cornerback Bilhal Kone to miss season with injury
Baltimore Ravens cornerback Bilhal Kone suffered a ligament tear in his left knee during the preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts. The injury will keep him out of action for the entire season, according to coach John Harbaugh.
Kone, a sixth-round selection in his rookie year, was injured while defending Colts wide receiver Ashton Dulin late in the first quarter. The player fell in the end zone after an incomplete pass, showing obvious signs of pain and immediately grabbing his left leg.El cornerback novato Bilhal Kone fue retirado del campo en camilla durante el partido de pretemporada de los Ravens contra los Colts. The Ravens’ medical services placed a splint on Kone’s leg before removing him from the field on a stretcher. The player was competing for a roster spot as a cornerback.
Even seeing him in the locker room right now is really tough. Very tough,” Harbaugh commented. “But I told him the sun will come up tomorrow. He’ll take care of this. He’ll be in rehab, he’s part of our team and he’ll be back. So it just won’t be in the time one expects.”

In his final college season, Kone led Western Michigan with nine pass deflections, in addition to recording 70 tackles and an interception.
