Air Delay: Packers Suffer Delay to Face Cardinals
The flight carrying the Green Bay Packers players and coaches suffered a considerable delay before departing for Phoenix on Saturday, on the eve of the game against the Arizona Cardinals.
The match, initially scheduled for the afternoon, was affected by a technical problem in one of the charter aircraft used by the team. This forced the organization to find a solution to transport the team.
According to sources, the plane carrying the team staff took off on time. However, the second plane, intended for the players and coaches, experienced a significant delay.
Finally, the plane with the players and coaching staff took off from the gate at 7:05 p.m. CT and was scheduled to land at 8:32 p.m. local time in Phoenix. This represents a delay of 5 hours and 14 minutes from the scheduled arrival time.
The start of the game between the Packers and the Cardinals is scheduled for 1:25 p.m. MT.
