NFL Preseason 2025: Week 2 Recap

The second week of the 2025 NFL preseason is already underway, giving teams the opportunity to refine their strategies and evaluate their players in a dress rehearsal before the start of the regular season. Alofoke Deportes reporters bring you a detailed summary of the key matches.

Friday’s Results

These are the results of the matches played on Friday.

Seahawks 33, Chiefs 16

Zach Charbonnet proved his worth once again, solidifying his role in the Seahawks’ offense. With Kenneth Walker III absent, Charbonnet seized the opportunity, rushing for 45 yards and scoring a 15-yard touchdown. Walker’s absence, who has had availability issues, could mean increased participation for Charbonnet this season. On the Chiefs’ side, defensive rookies Omarr Norman-Lott, Ashton Gillotte, Nohl Williams, and Jeffrey Bassa struggled to stand out. The Chiefs’ defense conceded many rushing yards in the first half. Williams, although showing aggressiveness, had to leave the game due to a concussion. Seahawks’ next game: against Green Bay Packers (Saturday, 4 p.m. ET, NFL Network). Chiefs’ next game: against Chicago Bears (Friday, 8:20 p.m. ET).

Titans 23, Falcons 20

Elic Ayomanor, rookie receiver for the Titans, had an outstanding performance, recovering from a difficult practice. Ayomanor caught two passes for 47 yards, proving to be a threat in the middle of the field. Gunnar Helm also shone, catching a 25-yard touchdown pass. In the Falcons team, receivers David Sills V, Chris Blair, and Dylan Drummond had their moments. Blair achieved a 52-yard touchdown reception. Drummond continues to stand out with 12 receptions in two preseason games. Sills, who has been a favorite target of Kirk Cousins in practice, could have a secured spot on the 53-player team. Next Titans game: against Minnesota Vikings (Friday, 8 p.m. ET). Falcons’ next game: against Dallas Cowboys (Friday, 8 p.m. ET).
