Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills and Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens earned a 99 rating, the highest in the game. Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals ranked third with a 97 rating. After learning his rating, Mahomes focused on the Chiefs’ next preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals. This game will mark Mahomes’ debut with several players in new positions, including rookie left tackle Josh Simmons, left guard Kingsley Suamataia, running back Brashard Smith, and receivers Tyquan Thornton and Jalen Royals. Mahomes is expected to start Saturday’s game and lead the offense for a couple of series in the first quarter.I like to play Madden, so I would like to have a higher rating. But I have to play and prove it on the field. I think if I go out there and play the football I want to play, we can get to 99 pretty quick.

The player stated that he is not a heavy user of smelling salts.I don’t like getting hit. I always like getting hit once (in the preseason), but it’s still a shock. I’m excited to see where we’re at.
