Lamar Jackson in Good Shape After Practice Incident
OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is in good health following an incident at Wednesday’s practice, a team spokesperson reported. During practice, Jackson, a two-time NFL Most Valuable Player, was accidentally brought down to the ground at approximately 90 minutes. After this, he remained on the field to throw some additional passes before retiring to the facilities with the team doctor and coach, about 40 minutes earlier than expected. Before leaving the field, it was observed that Jackson was flexing his right wrist. The Ravens have chosen not to play Jackson in preseason games for the last four years, with the aim of minimizing the risk of injury. Jackson’s only absence from training this year was for previously agreed personal reasons. At 28 years old, Jackson hasn’t missed a game due to injury since the 2022 season. The Ravens will start the season in 18 days, facing the Buffalo Bills.Obviously, we’ll keep him in our prayers and hope he’s okay. I’m sure – knowing Lamar, being Lamar – he’ll be back before we know it.
